Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the injection molding workshop to ensure production targets are achieved on time with consistent quality standards.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate manpower resources; assign work effectively to enhance productivity and team efficiency.
  • Supervise the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Monitor production issues and provide timely troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain optimal workflow.
  • Participate in early-stage site supervision to ensure equipment installation and workshop layout conforms to production needs.
  • Drive 5S implementation and enforce workplace safety practices.
  • Develop, review, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to machine operators and production staff.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to support production efficiency and process improvements.
  • Maintain production records and prepare relevant reports as required.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding.
  • Experience in construction site supervision or production facility setup is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of production operations with proven team management and leadership skills.
  • Familiar with safety regulations, equipment maintenance procedures, and basic quality control knowledge.
  • Able to read and interpret equipment layout or mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and simple data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to participate in facility setup, construction supervision, and equipment commissioning during early project stages.
