Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, including paper cup forming machines.
  • Execute maintenance tasks as per the maintenance plan and schedule to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Conduct daily maintenance activities to support smooth factory operations.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machines to minimize downtime.
  • Adjust tooling sizes and machine settings on paper cup forming machines as required for production.
  • Respond to and complete all assigned maintenance service requests promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, and 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Work closely with the Production and Quality teams to resolve machine-related issues affecting output and quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and energy efficiency.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper cup or packaging industries.
  • Hands-on experience with paper cup forming machines is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Must be able to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
  • Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
