About the role

JADE COMMERCIAL SERVICES' is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kulai District Johor. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our diverse range of projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise and project management skills to drive the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the planning, design, and implementation of various projects
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to effectively communicate project progress and address any issues
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies
  • Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of projects
  • Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve project-related challenges

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably within the construction or engineering industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements
