IT Support Engineer (Infrastructure)

Job Responsibilities

· Provide technical support consultation on hardware, software, cloud, and networking maintenance services to multinational corporation customers.

· Act as first/second level support team member for corporate customers; escalate to second/third level experts in accordance with established guidelines and policies.

· Handle daily customer technical enquiries through various channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.

· Provide helpdesk, remote network, and server support including system monitoring; primarily office-based with occasional on-site support requirements.

· Deliver application support, conduct user acceptance testing, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation such as SOPs, manuals, and operational guides.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and system administration.

· Ensure service delivery aligns with customer project needs and meets all Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Requirements

· Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; candidates from other disciplines with substantial IT experience and knowledge will be considered.

· Strong foundational IT knowledge with practical experience in enterprise infrastructure environments; managed services experience is an advantage.

· Practical knowledge in monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, OpManager) and cloud platforms is a strong advantage.

· Capable of managing multiple assignments and working under roster-based shift schedules, including day and night shifts.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

· Solid customer service mindset with attention to detail; assertive and results-oriented, able to manage and complete tasks under pressure.

· High sense of responsibility and ownership in daily work.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

· Excellent team player with collaborative work ethics and dedicated approach to problem resolution.

· ITIL and relevant technical certifications will be prioritized.

Additional Information

· Fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience but strong potential may be considered for the Assistant IT Support Engineer position.

· Working schedule: 12 hours per day, 4 days per week on a rotating roster basis.

· Working location: Kuala Lumpur.
