How you will create an impact

  • Process Casualty and Financial Lines claims efficiently and accurately in line with AIG's claims handling guidelines, ensuring timely resolutions for customers.
  • Core activities would include working closely with vendors including solicitors and loss adjusters in monitoring their performance, in handling litigation cases, engaging with policyholders, brokers and agents on the progress of each claim, continuous engagement with Underwriters
  • Monitor and report on any loss trends / insights and negotiate direct settlement with third-party / third-party legal representatives in a pro-active manner, manage new incoming claims and to ensure claims are in line with Best Practice.
  • To ensure timely reserving, claim file updates, and data accuracy is maintained.
  • To ensure timely coverage responses are delivered to the stakeholders.
  • To support the Casualty and Financial Lines Claims team in delivering its Claims Promise.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders to foster trust and confidence between AIG and our customers.
  • To provide training to our stakeholders on claims related matters when required
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the claims team by consistently meeting or exceeding quality and productivity targets.
  • Maintain a high level of quality, adhering to AIG's procedures, policies, and processes.
  • Identify potential fraud risks and take proactive steps to safeguard the company's operations and financial integrity.
  • Improve processes, reduce transactional costs, and enhance the effectiveness of claims handling.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience of Casualty and Financial Lines claims processes and procedures is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with a high level of responsibility.
  • Effective time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet varying tasks and deadlines.
  • Adaptability to be able to quickly pivot in a dynamic claims environment in response to evolving demands and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • To work with integrity, able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve personal and business objectives.
  • Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
  • Able to self-reflect/ analyze, actively seek feedback to identify strengths and personal development.
