About the role

Xing Cantonese Cuisine, a high-end Chinese restaurant specializing in seafood dishes is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their dynamic team in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur. As a Senior Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the financial performance of the establishment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to deliver exceptional customer service
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling
  3. Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, improve profitability, and enhance the overall customer experience
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones

  6. Provide regular feedback and training to restaurant staff to enhance their skills and performance

  7. Exceptional customer service & discretion to cater to our high profile guests and VVIPs

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  4. Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, regulations, and best practices
  5. Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and improving financial performance

  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances

  7. Experience in banquet and functions up to 150pax

  8. Multi-lingual candidate with strong grasp of Cantonese, Mandarin and English language.
