Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure products consistently meet customer requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), 5 Why, and FMEA for quality-related issues, and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor process capability, yield, and defect trends to identify areas for improvement and ensure product conformity.
  • Support new product qualification and first article inspections (FAI) to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external quality audits (ISO9001, ISO14001, or customer audits).
  • Liaise with customers regarding quality concerns, coordinate SCAR/8D reports, and ensure timely response and closure.
  • Maintain and update quality documents such as control plans, inspection standards, work instructions, and quality reports.
  • Support IQC, IPQC, and OQC teams to ensure robust inspection and testing methods are in place.
  • Provide quality engineering support for continuous improvement initiatives such as defect reduction, yield improvement, and process capability enhancement.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions to strengthen quality culture and ensure compliance with quality objectives and policies.
  • Benchmark quality performance and implement best practices for continual improvement.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the superior.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Quality / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering or assurance within a manufacturing environment (stamping, molding, or assembly preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in quality tools (8D, 5Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan).
  • Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Good communication and reporting skills to coordinate with internal teams and customers effectively.
  • Added advantage for candidates who can communicate in Mandarin (as top management is from China).
  • Preferably male candidates, but females are also encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
