Human Resource Manager (Regional Offsite) Based in Penang

This position is responsible for supporting the Senior Human Resource Manager (Asia) in managing the HR function across seven Asia sites: Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong and Indonesia. The role is based in Penang and primarily supports home-based employees. It requires strong coordination and communication skills to manage HR operations virtually across borders.

You are expected to:

Support the Senior Human Resource Manager (Asia) in overseeing regional-offsite HR operations for seven Asia locations.

Coordinate HR processes and ensure alignment with corporate policies and local labor laws.

Responsible for compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, payroll and employee engagement.

Manage regional off-site HR reporting, consolidate data, and track workforce analytics.

Provide timely support on employee relations and HR communications for home-based staff.

Responsible for policy reviews, HR audits, and continuous improvement of HR systems for remote workforces.

Any other duties & responsibilities which the Management / Superior may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including regional exposure.

Experience supporting remote or home-based employees across South East Asia is a MUST.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Strong knowledge of employment practices in Asia.

Proficient in English; additional Asian language(s) a plus.

Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Possess strategic mindset, independent, mature and resourceful.

Ability to think out of the box.

10.  A good team player with the ability to interact effectively with all level of Staff and Management is essential.
