Job Title: Branch Manager (Supermarket Warehouse)

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all warehouse operations at the supermarket branch, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution, staff supervision, and overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet store demands.
  • Team Supervision & Development
  • Manage warehouse staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure high productivity and teamwork.
  • Inventory & Stock Control
  • Conduct regular stock takes and audits to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with procurement and store departments for stock replenishment.
  • Logistics & Distribution
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods from the warehouse to the supermarket floor or other branches.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers or internal transport teams for inbound/outbound deliveries.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, warehouse SOPs, and company policies.
  • Ensure equipment and warehouse facilities are properly maintained.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and submit operational reports such as inventory levels, stock movement, staff performance, and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management (preferably in a supermarket or retail setting).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of inventory systems and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
