Intern – Electrician

The Electrician/Instrument Technician Intern will assist the Electrical & Instrumentation team in installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment. The intern will gain hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, control panels, and process instrumentation used in [e.g. manufacturing, plant, construction, or engineering projects].

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, wiring, and termination of electrical panels, control systems, and instrumentation devices.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist in testing and calibration of instruments such as transmitters, sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
  • Learn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings (e.g. SLD, loop diagram, wiring diagram).
  • Support troubleshooting of electrical faults and assist in repair works under supervision.
  • Assist in preparing maintenance or testing reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or mentor.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Able to use basic electrical tools and test instruments (e.g. multimeter, megger).
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Commitment to follow safety practices and company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship, Fresh graduate

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM RM1,300.00 per month
