  • Supervise and manage subordinates, ensuring compliance with company rules and regulations.
  • Oversee electrical and instrumentation systems in the mine, plant, and jetty areas, including troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of high/low voltage equipment, motors, generators, and power systems.
  • Monitor and analyze energy consumption, recommending cost-saving and sustainable improvements.
  • Support expansion projects, electrical upgrades, and purchasing transactions (equipment, materials, and services).
  • Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with cross-shift teams.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS regulations, company SOPs, and environmental sustainability practices.
  • Utilize Ramco ERP for preventive maintenance, purchasing, inventory, and administration tasks.

Job Specification

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Competent Chargeman or Electrical Engineer certification (A0/A1/A4 or equivalent from Suruhanjaya Tenaga) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or engineering within an industrial or mining environment.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and AutoCAD software.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Well-versed in calibration and instrumentation processes.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical drawings, inverters, and motor starters.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and technical report-writing abilities.
