We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Protégé who is eager to build a career in Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the line manager or superior in day-to-day accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, payment verification, vendor reconciliation and record-keeping. This role provides hands-on involvement in finance operations, offering valuable exposure to the accounts payable function and broader financial management within our organization.

We are immediately hiring a fresh graduate to be our
Velesto Trainee (Protégé) – Accounts Payable
under the
Finance
Division, with an expected start date in
early November 2025.

Job Descriptions:-

• Provide administrative support to the department by ensuring accurate and timely payments of all expenses to vendors and ensuring that invoices are accurate with compliance to standard operating procedures.
• Manage data entry and ensure that the turnaround of documents is performed within the service level agreement ("SLA") or agreed timeframe.
• Perform a 3-way match to ensure that supplier invoices are supported by Delivery Order, Purchase Requisition, and Purchase Order before preparing payment.
• Prepare payment to vendors and miscellaneous payments for Drilling entities, including rig owners, via host-to-host (H2H), distribute/follow up for verification and authorization according to internal guidelines and banking approval matrix.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Fresh graduates with Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Accounting Professional Certificate such as ACCA. MIA, CPA or any equivalent
• Good communication skills both in English and Malay
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience using D365 would be an advantage
• Good time management, hardworking and details-oriented
• Can work at our main office in Plaza Sentral, KL (opposite to KL Sentral).
• Must currently unemployed.
• Age 26 and below.
