Assistant Front Office Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the front office team in daily operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas to ensure smooth guest flow and a professional environment.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Assist in preparing duty rosters and managing staff schedules to optimize productivity.
- Greet and interact with guests professionally, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Manage guest complaints with tact, ensuring issues are resolved to maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure VIP guests and special requests are handled with attention to detail.
- Support the Front Office Manager in controlling departmental expenses and monitoring budgets.
- Oversee cash handling, billing, and financial transactions at the front desk.
- Ensure accuracy of reports including occupancy, revenue, and daily summaries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of front office experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
