Established over a hundred years ago, Takasago is a global leading company in the flavour and fragrance industry, having developed flavours and fragrances for some of the world's most successful manufacturers of foods, beverages, fine fragrances, home, and personal care products.
For over 35 years, we have been a leading industrial producer of L-Menthol, using our core technology, asymmetric synthesis.
This technology enables us to produce unique, novel, and nature-identical aroma ingredients, and in addition, to manufacture pharmaceutical intermediates, functional materials, and other fine chemicals.
Takasago Group maintains offices, production sites, and R&D centers in twenty-seven countries and regions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales
and marketing of the existing and potential clients in the market. - Prepare the annual sales
budget and report sales performance. - Develop a strategic
business plan including the execution and implementation activities to
ensure the achievement of the sales budget. - Set up objectives for the
key accounts, develop and maintain a Critical Action Plan so that the
appropriate resources are allocated by Takasago Singapore to adequately
support the sales efforts. - Implement appropriate
pricing strategies so that Gross Profit targets are achieved. - Work closely with the
related departments in Takasago Singapore and distributor to facilitate
the proper and prompt handling of projects, order processing and
deliveries to customers. - Manage the activities of
the Marketing Department such that the corresponding marketing support
developed complements the sales strategies and efforts. - Submit monthly Sales
Reports providing updates on the status of the sales performance as well
as the progress of projects with the key accounts. - Identify new customers
that can be developed as Key Accounts. - Provide regular updates on
the latest Flavour trends, concepts and applications as well as the
industry movements in Malaysia. - Collect market and
customer information to enable the proper formulation of strategies and
tactics to expand Takasago's business.
Qualifications:
- Has
at least min 10 years of experience in Flavour Sales or Food seasoning
industry - Graduate
from Food science or related degree - Demonstrates
excellent customer engagement and relationship management, strong
communicative skill, a proactive mindset with a high can-do attitude,
effective teamwork and persistence with consistent and agility.
