Regional Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and design material handling equipment tailored to meet client specifications and regional requirements by utilizing AutoCAD or other design tools to create detailed schematics, layouts and specifications.
  • Act as a technical expert, providing support to clients, sales teams, and installation teams on system functionality, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into viable technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with equipment manufacturing and project team during execution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures in the design and application processes to ensure the reliability and safety of material handling equipment.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to guarantee compliance with industry standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical or Civil Structural)
  • 2-5 years of related working experience in designing mechanical systems, preferably in the design of engineered cranes. Field experience will be added advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing the design process from concept to execution, including project management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools, to create detailed schematics and layouts.
  • Strong engineering analysis skills to assess the feasibility and performance of engineered cranes.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and technologies used in the design and application of

    mechanical systems.
