About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Supervisor to join our team at ACTER TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD.'. As a Finance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the company. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, and cash flow to ensure proper financial management of construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Review and verify financial documents, vouchers, and payment requests.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers as required.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
