Responsibilities:

You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of sustainability action plans and programs align with Apical's sustainability policy and Apical2030 to deliver company's sustainability commitments.
  • Lead and strategize engagement with stakeholders on ESG matters (policy, partnerships, sustainability management and compliance) including maintaining rapport with global brands/ customers, financial institutions, implementation partners, suppliers and non-profit organisations.
  • Recommend solutions to meet specific sustainability requirements stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain a proper sustainability data management system related to amongst others, Traceability, Legality, No Deforestation, Peat and Exploitation Implementation Reporting Framework (NDPE IRF), Human Rights and environmental data.
  • Coordinate, monitor and report on the sustainability performance periodically.
  • Monitor and analyze developments in emerging ESG trends, legislations, technologies, and best practices for adaptation by Apical as well as providing advisory in company's position in meeting the requirements.
  • To lead and manage ESG information requirement of Customers/Buyer and/or other relevant stakeholders.
  • Engagement with consultants on sustainability management
  • To manage certification and compliance requirements of Apical facilities and supply chain.
  • Support sustainability-related events, workshops, and training sessions for stakeholders
  • Undertake other related appropriate task assigned by Superior
