JOB SUMMARY

Establish and maintain a high performance Sales & Marketing team for EP Plus to effectively deliver and meet the Company's sales expectations and target.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop and implement effective sales & marketing strategies, and lead nationwide sales & marketing team towards achieving the Company's sales objectives.
  2. Develop competencies and processes to create an effective and efficient Sales & Marketing team.
  3. Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development to ensure that the Sales & Marketing team perform in alignment with the Company's business goals.
  4. Collaborate with HR department to ensure effective hiring, training, development and retention of the Sales & Marketing team.
  5. Identify changes in the healthcare, delivery system and competitive pressure in order to develop and modify the Company's sales & marketing strategies.
  6. Prepare sales forecasts, budget control and incentive plan to ensure that the Sales team perform in the direction of the Company's business goals.
  7. Provide strategic guidance to marketing for brand plan development, marketing A&P management, stocks & sample management, inventory forecasts, and optimum marketing activities execution to ensure the Sales team perform in the direction of the Company's business goals.
  8. Establish effective relationships and collaborations with the Company's departments to address key business issues and opportunities.
  9. Lead and guide the Sales & Marketing team to adhere to the Company's policies, business integrity and Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia's code of conduct.

KEY CHALLENGES

  1. Creating a dynamic and well driven Sales & Marketing team nationwide.
  2. Retaining key employees and hiring the right talent to join the Sales team.
  3. Motivating the Sales & Marketing team to accomplish the Company's business objectives amidst the regional economic conditions.
  4. Managing the Sales& Marketing team and own responsibilities concurrently.
  5. Strict adherence to the Company's business integrity and Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia's code of conduct in the midst of business temptations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Knowledge

  • Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the medical semantics, products and practices.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to work with people at all levels (Communication / Customer Service Orientation).
  • Capable leader who is able to build and guide the Sales team (Developing Self & Others)
  • Business awareness and analytical skills (Business Acumen).
  • Ability to present information and negotiate with people at all levels (Business Acumen).
  • Strong sense of rightfulness (Integrity).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in managing a direct sales force.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach a team.
