Primary Functions:

  • Sustain daily equipment setup for production output and process engineering for ink marking, laser marking, DISCO pkg sawing, TOWA molding, Trim, Form & Singulation.
  • Assist engineers to run engineering evaluations for improvement projects.
  • Assist manufacturing specialist/operator in equipment set up.
  • To carry out machine conversion, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Assist engineers on the process evaluation and new process set-up for new product.
  • Carry out Daily Down time monitoring and compilation recording.

Duties/Job Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out machine set up and tooling conversion to support EOL production.
  2. Assist process engineers to do various types of process evaluation.
  3. Assist process engineers with troubleshooting & process optimization.
  4. Assist maintenance engineers for troubleshooting equipment.
  5. Assist Manufacturing specialist/operator to clear minor equipment stoppages.
  6. Promote teamwork and cooperation.
  7. Ensure that safety and housekeeping requirements are met.
  8. Any other job responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as and when required.
  9. Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
  • Must be to understand and handle basic maintenance of mechanical parts such as silicone pad ink marking machine, SMT trim and form punch, TOWA molding machine, DISCO QFN package sawing machine, solder paste printing machine and pick & place process.
  • Experience in semiconductor environment will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably with 2 years' related experience in supporting equipment and maintenance activities in End line mfg. assembly processes
  • Knowledge in designated area machine maintenance/operation; Good troubleshooting skills
