About the role

Borneo Culinary Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a driven and experienced Supervisor to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring we maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic and innovative company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of production staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  2. Monitoring production processes and identifying areas for improvement to enhance productivity
  3. Ensuring all health, safety and quality control measures are followed by the team
  4. Providing coaching and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential
  5. Liaising with management to report on team performance and make recommendations for process enhancements
  6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production and employee performance

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role within a manufacturing or logistics environment
  2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and lead a team
  4. Proficient in using computerised systems and tools to monitor and report on production data
  5. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety
  6. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
