The Opportunity

Our partner is a leading national distributor of Sungrow inverters, solar batteries, and energy solutions in Australia. The team is expanding rapidly and they're looking for a proactive Operations Officer to ensure our day-to-day operations run efficiently and smoothly.This role will be based in Manila, Philippines, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of their offshore support team.

ASW Global operates on a Hybrid model. During the probation period, you will be required to work full-time onsite. After this period, the role will transition to a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with a regular shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Manila / Kuala Lumpur time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage local and interstate freight bookings to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Process customer orders accurately and communicate order status, stock availability, and delivery updates.
  • Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and customers to resolve delivery issues, claims, or delays.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory records, supporting stocktakes and inbound/outbound stock movements.
  • Maintain operational documentation and assist in improving internal processes and systems for greater efficiency

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management (preferably within a distribution or renewable energy business).
  • Strong knowledge of freight coordination, warehouse operations, and ERP systems (e.g., Cin7 or NetSuite).
  • Excellent organisation, multitasking, and communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
