Role Overview
Join Maxis as an
HR Business Partner Intern
and gain hands-on experience supporting HR processes and initiatives. This role involves working closely with managers and HR teams to manage performance improvement plans, maintain organizational data accuracy, and facilitate assessments for retail store executives. You'll also handle various business-as-usual (BAU) requests, ensuring seamless HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) Management: Engage and follow up with managers to ensure timely implementation and tracking of PIPs and maintain records of PIP statuses and collaborate with the CER team for necessary actions.
  • Consumer Business Org Chart Cleanup: Ensure the HR system reflects an accurate Consumer Business (CB) organizational chart, and coordinate with the People Services team to make updates or changes as needed.
  • Executive of Maxis Centre (EoMC) Assessment: Plan, schedule, and organize assessment sessions for retail store executives, prepare and manage assessment tools to support the evaluation process.
  • Business-As-Usual (BAU) HR Support: Handle various HR requests such as job changes and benefit-related queries, and coordinate with the respective Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for resolution where applicable.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic HR environment.
