Position: Intern Site Supervisor

Location: One South, opposite MRT station near Sungai Besi toll (Site within Klang Valley)

Role Overview:

As an Intern Site Supervisor at Godeco Services Sdn Bhd, you will gain hands-on experience in the coordination and execution of construction and renovation projects. Working under the guidance of our experienced site supervisors and project managers, you will be exposed to real-world practices in site management, contractor coordination, and quality control. This internship offers a practical platform for learning how interior design projects are brought to life on-site, ensuring design intent is translated into physical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Intern Site Supervisor:

• Assist in supervising day-to-day site activities to ensure work progresses according to schedule, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of work.
• Monitor site safety practices and assist in enforcing safety regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in site inspections and help document progress, issues, and resolutions through daily reports and photos.
• Assist with tracking project timelines, delivery schedules, and work progress to highlight potential delays or concerns.
• Help ensure workmanship complies with approved drawings and materials match specifications.
• Attend site meetings and assist in communicating updates between design and site teams.
• Provide on-site problem-solving support by reporting and following up on issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing and organizing site-related documentation such as work orders, delivery notes, and checklists.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a diploma, degree, or equivalent program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design (with interest in site supervision), or a related field.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and project timelines.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites and work on-site as needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with workers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a practical work setting.
