Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager – Channel Business at Connex Malaysia. Located in WP, Kuala Lumpur, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing channel partner relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. Daily tasks will include creating and implementing business strategies, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and providing regular sales reports. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have prior experience working in IT Distribution or with a Value-Added Distributor (VAD).
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including Cyber Security, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining partner relationships
  • Proven track record in developing business strategies and driving sales growth
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for market research and proposal preparation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in the IT industry is a plus
