Are you an experienced Accounts Executive looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a talented Accounts Executive to join the team at Prima Majubina Sdn Bhd, a leading accounting firm based in Sibu, Sarawak. This full-time role will involve providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping support to our diverse range of small business clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for clients
  • Preparing monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and liaising with tax authorities
  • Providing general financial and accounting advice to clients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and database management
  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts executive or bookkeeping role
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
