Service Engineer – Asia Pacific Regional Office

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking a talented and self-driven Service Engineer to join our Asia Pacific Regional Team based in Kuala Lumpur. In this exciting role, you will support our cutting-edge Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems and contribute to delivering innovative solutions to clients across the region.


About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in technical support, commissioning, and troubleshooting for our advanced AGL systems. You will work closely with our sales teams, technical specialists, and regional customers to ensure smooth project execution and world-class service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and service support for Airfield Ground Lighting Systems, including electrical and control systems across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Deliver expert guidance on product sizing, selection, and technical specifications for AGL systems.
  • Handle service-related issues and provide effective solutions to customers.
  • Support the regional sales team with pre-sales activities, including technical consultations and proposals.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
  • Liaise with clients to provide timely technical support and resolve reported issues efficiently.
  • Perform site surveys and visits to assess customer requirements and promote solutions.
  • Deliver on-site and classroom-based training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 3–4 years of experience in testing, commissioning, and/or system troubleshooting.
  • Regional exposure, preferably with experience supporting Chinese-speaking countries, is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems and control technologies (PLC or PC-based).
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Chinese language skills are an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel international frequently (more than 50%).
