Job Title : Project Engineer (Rotating Machinery)

Reports to : Project Manager / General Manager / Director of Company

Job Description

Our Company deals with industrial rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, steam turbines, hydraulic coupling ) installed in power plants, refinery, petrochemicals and oil & gas facilities.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Project Engineer who be the overall responsible for managing, handling and resolving all the technical issues related to the rotating equipment installed at our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

·      

Working closely with original equipment manufacturer/OEM, local technical staff members to provide products, solutions & services to existing and potential customers.

·      

Coordinate and manage – small to medium size projects which may involve other stakeholders. (internal team, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, etc)

·      

Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team to realize targets and objectives

·      

Travelling to and Hands-on work at customer's site will be regular and expected.

·      

Relevant knowledge and experience in the
Power Plant and/ or Oil & Gas industry

is preferred.

·      

To perform any task as assigned by the superior, including non-sales administrative duties.

·   

The successful candidate will be highly organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with excellent time-management skills.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

·      

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred

·      

5 years or more of relevant experience preferred

·      

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

·      

Required Skill(s): Computer literate. Competency in Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
