· Design and optimize solar PV system layouts, including anchoring, flotation structures and electrical components.

· Develop and review technical specifications, bill of materials, engineering drawings, etc.

· Prepare technical documentation, layout drawings, bill of quantities and compliance matrices for tender submissions.

· Conduct technical feasibility studies and site assessments for floating solar PV installations.

· Evaluate hydrological, mechanical and electrical requirements specific to dam and floating installations.

· Monitor and track the progress of solar project to ensure timely execution, quality compliance, and coordination with contractors and site teams.

· Work closely with environmental, civil and structural engineers to ensure integrated design and compliance with regulations.

· Support construction, installation and commissioning activities with on-site technical supervision as needed.

· Perform performance modelling and yield estimation using tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar.

· Monitor and analyse system performance post-installation and recommend improvements or troubleshooting.

· Ensure compliance with safety, grid connection and regulatory standards (e.g., SEDA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

· Provide technical support and advice to project teams and stakeholders during all project phases.

· Any other duties as assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· At least 3-4 years of project management experience in solar PV system design and installation, preferably with exposure to floating solar systems.

· Familiar with grid integration, inverter selection, energy yield analysis and system protection for solar power.

· Understanding of hydrology, structural load on water-based systems and environmental impact considerations.

· Proficiency in PV system software (PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

· Strong analytical and communication skills.

· Willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur for 2-3 years before transferring to Kelantan project site.
