Business Operations Analyst 3

Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

• Own and manage Automated Deal management (ADM) system and processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all ADM-related inquiries, providing timely support and addressing user questions and concerns.
• Support Business Development by resolving queries and concerns related to ADM, delivering high-quality assistance and guidance.
• Lead ADM Sprints and Continuous Improvement Projects (including AOP initiatives), driving enhancements and add-ons to meet evolving business needs.
• Implement and oversee improvements and additional features in ADM to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate quarterly end certification processes, ensuring all BDSO Heads certify and confirm the status of all deals each quarter.
• Manage the annual ADM Target Margin Refresh and Confirmation, obtaining updates and changes to product target margins from each PGBD Head and performing sample verification.
• Conduct analyses of deals performance, incorporating annual performance metrics to provide executive management with updates on performance against targets/metrics.
• Support CEA (customer evaluation approval) by addressing user queries and concerns timely.
• Monitor weekly forecast changes and identify and inquire from Business Development driver of changes.
• Support preparation of annual evaluation performance metrics update at each Quarterly Commit/Forecast Review (QXR).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or business operations. Revenue experience preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP ECC, CRM, and BOBJ.
• Strong excel skills (incl. pivot tables, formulas) and analytical (Power pivot, Power BI) skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex workflows.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

• Familiarity with Semiconductor Equipment industry.
• Experience working in a global organization with diverse teams.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets for decision support.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
