Job Description (Logistics cum Veterinary Assistant)

  • Animal Pickup: Coordinate and manage the pickup of deceased animals from veterinary clinics, pet owners, or other locations.

  • Cremation Services: Oversee and coordinate the cremation process for deceased animals, ensuring that it is conducted in accordance with regulations and best practices.

  • Transport and Delivery: Arrange for and manage transportation logistics for both pickup and delivery of animals.

  • Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies related to cremation services, such as cremation urns, identification tags, and other materials.

  • Clinical Support: Assist veterinarians in preparing animals for procedures, including euthanasia when necessary.

  • Client Interaction: Communicate with pet owners regarding the process of animal pickup and cremation.

  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that areas related to cremation and pickup services are clean and maintained.

  • Assisting with Examinations and Procedures: Help veterinarians by preparing examination rooms, assisting during appointments, and setting up equipment.

  • Patient Care and Monitoring: Monitor animals' vital signs, administer medications as directed, and ensure their comfort before, during, and after procedures.

  • Clinical Support:

    Assist veterinarians in preparing animals for examinations, procedures, and euthanasia when required, ensuring a calm and safe environment.

  • Client Interaction:

    Communicate professionally and compassionately with pet owners regarding pickup arrangements, cremation services, and follow-up processes.

  • Facility Maintenance:

    Ensure all facilities related to animal pickup, storage, and cremation are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.

  • Patient Care and Monitoring:

    Monitor animals' vital signs, administer medications as directed, and ensure their comfort before, during, and after procedures.

  • Animal Handling and Restraint:

    Safely handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments to ensure the safety of both the animal and the veterinary team.
