About the role

Exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer to join CME EDARAN SDN BHD' in their Subang Jaya, Selangor office. As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in optimising the manufacturing processes and improving productivity within the organisation. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products
  • Analysing production data and identifying areas for improvement in terms of cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Implementing lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste
  • Monitoring and optimising equipment performance and maintenance schedules
  • Providing technical guidance and support to production staff
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in a similar production engineering role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Proficient in using production management software, data analysis tools, and project management techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
