Junior Sales Engineer (Malaysia)

To be successful in this role, you will learn a deep understanding of the companies' sales cycle and products. Self confidence in approaching potential companies with cold calls is an advantage.

Responsibilities typically include

  • Identify, call, and qualify prospects and convert into leads and opportunities
  • Convert opportunities into sales to meet and exceed targets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Understand and promote company's portfolio
  • Keep customer records well maintained in CRM system
  • Assist the sales team in typical daily tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field
  • Experience in solution sales and sales of capital assets is a plus
  • High enthusiasm about the manufacturing and ingredient automation industry
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • High confidence in speaking when making cold calls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, basic German language skills are a plus.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel for business purpose
