  • Client Engagement and Account Management: Engage directly with concrete construction/formwork buyers to promote and manage the sale and rental of our formwork and shoring systems. Act as the primary Account Manager to ensure all customer needs are met, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Aggressive Prospecting: Prospect proactively within the assigned territory (Subang Jaya, East Malaysia, or Singapore) to identify and prioritize potential customers, new project opportunities, and market needs.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Maintain and track opportunities using proprietary CRM software, ensuring structured follow-up and effective management of all sales funnel activities.
  • Quoting and Presentation: Estimate project costs according to company pricing guidelines. Prepare compelling sales presentations using internal toolkit software to demonstrate system benefits and present tailored solutions to clients.
  • Solution Selling & Closing: Address customer objections, validate the system's cost-saving advantages (Lowest In-Place Concrete Cost), and close orders using standard company contracts.
  • Internal Handoff: Prepare all necessary order entry documentation and ensure a smooth, accurate handover of projects to the operations and engineering teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with district and corporate support teams to fully deliver on customer expectations and maintain strong client relationships post-sale.
  • Financial Oversight: Support credit control efforts to ensure timely customer payments and help the team achieve accounts receivable performance targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and new technology; develop strategies to win new customers and deepen business with existing clients.
  • Professional Development: Participate in required training, industry seminars, trade shows, and special corporate initiatives.
  • Travel: Travel frequently across the assigned territory as part of regular duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Business or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Experience: Sales or construction industry experience is advantageous, especially within the specialized formwork, shoring, or engineering solutions sector.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints is required.
  • PC Proficiency: Strong PC literacy and professional presentation skills.
  • Core Competencies: High integrity, strong customer-facing ability, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Personal Drive: Highly self-motivated, results-driven, creative thinker, and effective communicator.
  • Independence: Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
