Content Moderator – E-Commerce Platform

Roles:

  • Review and moderate user-generated content, including product listings, images, descriptions, reviews, and comments.
  • Ensure all content complies with company policies, safety guidelines, and regional legal requirements.
  • Identify and remove fraudulent, misleading, inappropriate, or harmful content.
  • Evaluate product listings for accuracy, prohibited items, restricted goods, and policy violations.
  • Monitor reported content and take appropriate action within defined SLA timelines.
  • Flag and escalate complex or high-risk cases to the relevant teams (legal, compliance, risk).
  • Maintain high accuracy and consistency in decision-making.
  • Document findings and provide clear notes or feedback on moderation actions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Seller Support, Compliance) when needed.
  • Provide suggestions to improve moderation workflows, tools, and content policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience in content moderation, customer service, e-commerce operations, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound judgments based on guidelines.
  • Good command of English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage large volumes of content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or graphic content (depending on the platform's scope).
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
