Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership & Efficiency

  • Oversee daily operations of vending routes, ensuring machines are stocked, functional, and revenue-optimized.
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize machine downtime.
  • Optimize route planning and logistics to reduce costs and improve service levels.

2. Financial & Contract Management 
(Critical Addition)

  • Ensure all agreements (site contracts, vendor deals, client SLAs) are documented, renewed, and complied with.
  • Oversee billing, payment reconciliation, and financial reporting for the unit.
  • Analyze cost per machine, shrinkage, and profitability by location/route.
  • Identify waste reduction and margin improvement opportunities.

3. Team & Vendor Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage route drivers, technicians, and warehouse staff.
  • Set performance benchmarks, conduct reviews, and implement productivity incentives.
  • Manage supplier relationships (snacks, beverages, parts) to ensure cost, quality, and delivery compliance.

4. Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Maintain optimal stock levels using demand forecasting.
  • Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for perishable items.
  • Negotiate bulk purchase discounts with suppliers.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure food safety, health regulations, and labor laws are followed.
  • Conduct safety audits for warehouses, vehicles, and machines.

6. Customer & Stakeholder Relations

  • Resolve escalated client complaints (e.g., understocking, payment disputes).
  • Build long-term partnerships with site owners (offices, malls, schools).
  • Regularly review customer preferences to adjust product mix.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings.
