Job Description

Functional Responsibility & Duties

● Assist in operating an effective warehousing system for materials management. All transaction details must be recorded i.e. Receiving, Issuance, Storage, Stock taking and Inventory data.

● Assist in ensuring warehouse facilities, environment and arrangement are properly set up by ensuring adequate condition preservation, handling, fast and accurate retrieving of spares in a secure and safe environment.

● Physical controlling and monitoring the movement of material during issuance, receiving and dispatch from the warehouse.

● Assist by maintaining, reviewing, updating and monitoring due date listing, update transaction for materials; ensuring stock level is sufficient to support the operations.

● Liaise with Purchasing Executive and assist on maintenance planning functions, such as provisioning of materials for line check requirements and planned defect rectification. This is to ensure efficient and highest quality services provided to end users. Update any discrepancies to Materials Executive and Purchasing Executive.

● Adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures regarding safety, housekeeping and security.

● Attend and observe the daily or weekly Materials Executive briefing on the day's activities

● Ensure the most cost effective method of shipment to dispatch material.

● Perform such other duties as are assigned by the Materials Executive on the day's activities.

● Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

● Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access.

● Independent with good work ethics.

● High comfort level working in a diverse environment.

● Able to travel as when it is required.

Qualifications

● Possess a recognized Diploma in any field.

● Possess a recognized Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 5 years working experience in Warehousing.
