About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Lead Consultant (ERP – Finance) with 8–10+ years of proven experience in leading full-cycle ERP Finance implementations. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting and finance expertise with deep ERP functional knowledge, serving as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on configurator.

This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can translate business objectives into ERP-enabled solutions, guide complex transformations, and build lasting client relationships at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership in Business Process Analysis

• Lead and facilitate high-level business process and requirement workshops with C-level executives and finance leaders.
• Identify client pain points, perform gap analyses, and design future-state processes aligned with ERP best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on finance and accounting process re-engineering.

Solution Design & Documentation

• Translate business requirements into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Architect scalable, compliant ERP Finance solutions that align with industry and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end design.

ERP Finance Configuration & Delivery

• Configure and customize ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Reporting, etc.) with precision and adherence to double-entry bookkeeping principles.
• Oversee seamless integration between Finance and other ERP modules or third-party systems.

Project Execution & Governance

• Manage the full project lifecycle — from planning and configuration to testing, UAT, Go-Live, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
• Govern change requests with clear documentation, approval, and communication.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Define and lead Internal Acceptance Testing (IAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage Go-Live readiness and cutover activities, minimizing risks and ensuring a smooth transition.

Training, Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer

• Develop and conduct end-user and client training sessions with supporting documentation.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices to enhance team capability in ERP Finance implementations.

Client Engagement & Value Creation

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving business improvements through ERP automation and optimization.
• Build long-term relationships through continuous engagement, delivery excellence, and thought leadership.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, MIA, or ERP certifications (Oracle NetSuite, SAP FI/CO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Cloud ERP) are highly valued.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, PMP, or PRINCE2) is advantageous.
• 8–10+ years of full lifecycle ERP Finance implementation experience (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
• Strong command of financial and accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proven success in leading ERP projects from design to deployment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior executives.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities within consulting teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Retail, or Professional Services industries will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM15,000.00 per month
