Intake Care Representative

This role is responsible for the timely issuance of Guarantees of Payments (GOP), a confirmation towards the hospital or medical provider regarding length of admission, treatment and insured amount for our customers located globally.
This role involves the analysis of requests for medical treatments and hospitalisations, verification of the patient's extent of cover, our relationship with the provider, the need for medical review and the costs. The individual will work in close cooperation with the Case Managers and Medical Directors and monitor utilisation of services by our insured members.
This role will have frequent contacts with medical providers and individuals insured, mainly by email, to obtain all necessary information and is the focal point of contact for hospitals regarding all their questions related to the Guarantee of Payment.
Reports to: Intake Care Lead, Integrated Health Team

Education/Knowledge Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English is a must.

• Additional local language fluency is a plus.

• Strong computer skills required
