Job Description:

ourteam is working with a leading digital real-estate technology provider in Malaysia, widely recognized for transforming how property transactions are managed across the country. Their end-to-end platform is used by many of the nation's top property developers and has played a significant role in streamlining primary residential sales.

They specialize in digitizing the full property transaction cycle, from managing projects, stakeholders, and workflows enabling developers and agents to reduce processes that typically take months down to a matter of weeks. Their solutions drive efficiency, transparency, and seamless collaboration across the entire property ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements, design, implementation, testing and support of Property Industry solutions, which include feature enhancements, new functionalities, back-end systems integration, and production defects.
  • Accountable for ensuring there is no gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
  • Responsible for architecture and technical design. Review governance/standard to ensure the implementation adheres to best practices and mitigate potential issues in relation to performance and scalability.
  • Manage technology risks, communicate and discuss action items to mitigate the risks to all stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Define and manage resource plan together with the Technical Manager / Product Manager, aligning with the project schedule.
  • Plan and drive the project's technical execution to achieve the committed scope and timeline.
  • Monitor and report technical execution progress as well as all technical issues, risk or mitigation plan in a timely manner.
  • Interact with subject matter experts (functional & technical) to understand business requirements and technology architecture of the applications accordingly.
  • Assist in estimation of efforts and timescales for tasks delegated to the team.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and refinement of our client's methodology and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and lead/develop team members.
  • Responsible for current and forward resource management, team building and staff career growth.

Requirement

  • Degree in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering / Information Technology.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in technical software development (domain knowledge in Property Industry/ CRM/ Accounting will be an added advantage) with at least 1 year working experience as a Technical Lead.
  • Ability to lead a technical team, assign task,s and manage delivery schedule.
  • Understand design documentation standards such as Unified Modeling Language.
  • Proficiency in React and programming languages such as Golang, JavaScript or both.
  • Well-versed in AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Experience in RDBMS or PostgreSQL
  • Good verbal and written communication in English, technical, analytical, troubleshooting and consultative skills.
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to the delivery plan.
