As a Site Quality Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products manufactured and distributed adhere to global standards by assuring quality systems and processes with continuous improvement of the same.

  • To ensure that all quality systems at Johor Bahru site as well as its co packers are well maintained and implemented as per global quality standards
  • To ensure that good manufacturing practices are implemented and maintained in Johor Bahru site.
  • To ensure that testing and inspection of all raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and bulk are carried out as per TDS specifications.
  • Responsible for the release process of all raw materials, packaging materials, bulk as per approved SOP and global requirements before they are used for the production process; also responsible for the release process of all finished goods as per approved SOP and global requirements before they are released for distribution.
  • To ensure all raw materials and packaging materials used in the manufacturing process are from approved vendors; also to ensure that the COA specifications from the suppliers for all incoming materials comply with the TDS specifications.
  • To ensure raw materials and packaging materials handling and finished goods storage and distribution are managed as per global guidelines.
  • To ensure all In Process Quality Control systems in Johor Bahru lines are implemented and maintained as per approved standards and global requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate investigation in case of any on site quality related issues and corrective action implementation so as to mitigate root causes.
  • Lead the quality management and GMP training process for the site (preparation of training calendar and adherence to the same, preparation of training manuals in alignment with the global modules, training evaluation).
  • Responsible for conducting quality audit and GMP inspection in Johor Bahru, co packer and JB's supplier; ensure that all open audit points/recommendations highlighted in the audit reports are followed up and closed as per the agreed timelines.
  • Responsible for conducting store check/in market quality check and reviewing the results thereof as well as investigate all consumer complaints, do the root cause analysis of the same and take corrective action to prevent the incidence of such issues in the future.
  • Review the performance of suppliers and co packers on a regular basis.
  • Conduct validation, qualification and calibration activities in Johor Bahru site as per approved guidelines.
  • Lead the change control management process for all activities which have the potential to impact quality on all manufacturing sites; document and review the same.
  • Issue the "good for sale" certificate for the first delivery for all NPD/EPD/Squeeze projects.
  • Prepare and provide for quality agreements with countries from which we export products.

Requirements:

  • Education : Degree in  - Chemistry
  • Experience : 20 years of experience in Quality function in manufacturing at middle management level
  • Knowledge on : Quality Management Systems, Regulatory requirements like Malaysia Pesticides Act 1974, Laboratory Analysis
  • Knowledge on Aerosol, Pest Control, Aircare, Surface care, Laundry Aid Treatment & Personal Care.
  • Technical Skills in : Chemical Analytical skills, Risk Management Skills, Auditing Skills
