About the Role

We are looking for an IoT System Developer who can design and build a stable, scalable, and secure IoT ecosystem, covering devices, firmware, software, servers, cloud services, and system integrations. You will be responsible for developing end-to-end functionalities that ensure reliable communication, data flow, and long-term maintainability across all IoT layers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain IoT system architecture across device, gateway, server, and cloud layers.
  • Build stable communication workflows using MQTT, HTTP/REST, WebSocket, CoAP, or similar protocols.
  • Work closely with embedded engineers to integrate devices with backend services.
  • Implement secure and reliable data pipelines from sensors to cloud dashboards.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and management tools for device provisioning, monitoring, and updates.
  • Optimize system performance, reduce downtime, and ensure smooth cross-component operations.
  • Handle deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of IoT systems in real-world environments.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, API specifications, and deployment procedures.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, IoT, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of IoT architecture, cloud connectivity, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with backend development using Python, , Go, or similar languages.
  • Familiar with MQTT brokers (EMQX, Mosquitto), databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, MongoDB), and cloud services.
  • Basic understanding of embedded devices and firmware concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
Added Advantages
  • Experience with device management, OTA updates, digital twins, or large-scale IoT deployments.
  • Knowledge of edge computing platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, industrial gateways).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or microservices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity for IoT ecosystems.
