Job summary:

The Head of Strategy will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation strategic initiatives across the group. The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Job description:

  • Conduct strategic analysis and provide recommendations to drive the Groups long-term strategy.
  • Oversee development of senior management and board papers.
  • Oversee and manage competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Comprehend and interpret data and trending into insights and strategic recommendation.
  • Provide leadership direction to the team to ensure tasks and assignments are managed, coordinated, and executed efficiently aligning to the compliance, regulatory and risk management frameworks

Job requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in developing corporate strategies within financial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial services industry.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and management and communications skills.
  • Inspiring leader and able to command team respect.
