As an Automotive Mechanic and part of the Alang Motor team, your role includes repairing, maintaining, monitoring, and assembling automotive machinery. You will also support our customer service to help generate sales.

Mechanic Responsibilities

  • Prepare checklist based on mileage and vehicle condition.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, major repairs and recall work.
  • Perform requested repairs and recommend any additional parts that need replacement.
  • Maintain cleanliness at work area, dispose waste oil, any type of fluid and trash into designated bins.
  • Engage foreman for test drive after completion of job.
  • Perform work according to the foreman allocated time.
  • Deliver quality workmanship to meet service standards.
  • Maintain a safe workshop environment compliance with rules.
  • Show patience and listen to instructions.

Mechanic Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years or more of working experience preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is required.
  • Experience in vehicle repair and maintenance (continental car experience is an advantage).
  • Familiar with engine overhaul, transmission service and electrical system troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good in customer service and communication.
  • Willing to learn and work as a team.
  • Punctual hardworking and honest.
  • Possess valid driving license.
