The Role

The Process Technician supports the Process Engineer in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality, efficiency, and reliability. This role involves hands-on work in machine setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization, contributing to smooth production operations and continuous improvement activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Process Engineer with data collection and process yield studies.
  • Support the Process Engineer in new machine, process, and jigs/fixtures buy-off.
  • Assist in MES setup, configuration, and error troubleshooting.
  • Provide production support for any process-related issues.
  • Perform line setup and production line re-layout as required.
  • Set up, repair, and troubleshoot automated machines.
  • Perform Conformal Coating, Potting, and PCB Router machine setup and troubleshooting.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in machine setup, repair, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, fixtures, and line setup.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
  • Willing to work shifts or weekends, if required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Industrial, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
