About the role

Klinik Dr Evelyn is seeking a dedicated and organised Clinic Assistant to join our close-knit team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our general practice clinic. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and registering patients, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments to optimise the clinic flow
  • Preparing consultation rooms and equipment for patient examinations
  • Assisting the doctors and nurses with various clinical and administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files
  • Ordering and managing medical supplies and inventory
  • Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinic environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a clinic or medical assistant, preferably in a general practice setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and the medical team
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • A caring, empathetic and patient-focused approach to providing high-quality care
  • Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin would be preferred
