Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks; address questions, maintain an action log, and provide performance feedback to the Area Lead.
  • Maintain adherence to production schedules by ensuring that each line is properly set up according to layout specifications, with the correct equipment, fixtures, tools, prints, inspection sheets, and work instructions—at the start of each shift, after changeovers, and throughout operations.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Oversee the safe operation and proper guarding of equipment; report any unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
  • Model professionalism, reliability, quality awareness, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.
  • Enforce compliance with Quality System procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation as per departmental work instructions.
  • Identify and quarantine non-conforming or suspect materials in accordance with Quality System requirements.
  • Exercise sound judgment and take responsibility for decisions related to assigned production lines.
  • Assist with performing and evaluating first-piece inspections as required.
  • Display and track production quantity goals and report progress to the Area Lead.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork within the production line.
  • Coordinate with production control to adapt to scheduling changes.
  • Communicate relevant production updates and issues promptly to the Area Lead.
  • Ensure production paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with personal computers and basic software applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of motivating teams to achieve production targets.
  • Basic mathematical and computer literacy skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production processes and ability to perform all tasks within the production line.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or professional certification in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of continued professional development or training.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a production environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,400.00 per month
