Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Deputy Manager, IT Developer.

The Deputy Manager, IT Developer will be responsible for overseeing IT development projects, convert business requirements into digital products, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and leading and managing the IT team. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operation and implementation of IT solutions. In addition, candidate also responsible to develop the software and tools to help digital team deliver products and services based on user needs and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Information Technology and Technical Support
  • Preferably a recognized Degree/Professional/ Diploma qualification in Finance, Information Technology, Banking or business-related discipline.
  • Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Possess strong experience in the business process of the banking industry.
  • Experience in Team Leadership and Team Management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to understand problems and express the complexity of them in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus.
