Role Summary

The Retail Fit Out Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving retail expansion through market insight, strategic planning, and disciplined project execution. This position combines analytical thinking with hands-on operational leadership to ensure store development aligns with business goals, budget efficiency, and market potential. The ideal candidate possesses strong commercial acumen, excels at cross-functional coordination, and can translate data-driven insights into actionable retail strategies that deliver sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis & Strategy Development:

    Analyze retail markets using simulations and data insights to identify target cities and expansion opportunities. Formulate city-level retail strategies aligned with overall business objectives, cost considerations, and ROI potential.
  • Retail Planning & Forecasting:

    Evaluate regional sales performance to guide store location planning and annual retail target setting. Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for inventory, sales, and resource planning to support business agility.
  • Store Opening Process & Standards:

    Establish and institutionalize store opening standards to ensure consistency and operational excellence. Adapt approval processes in line with headquarters' policies and define key control points for accurate investment management.
  • Construction Management & Project Tracking:

    Oversee store construction progress with structured tracking and reporting mechanisms. Work closely with retail managers to manage risks, resolve delays, and ensure timely and quality delivery of new stores.
  • Retail Asset Planning & Control:

    Organize inventory verification, plan and allocate display props for new openings, and maintain comprehensive asset records to ensure effective cost control and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner with retail operations, finance, and suppliers to support decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and ensure alignment on retail execution priorities.
  • Performance Review & Continuous Improvement:

    Conduct periodic reviews with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate project outcomes, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements for future projects.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in retail strategy, store development, or project management.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of retail construction, site planning, and project lifecycle management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret market and sales data for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, and mentoring skills.
  • Adaptability: Agile and proactive in responding to market dynamics and organizational priorities.
  • Leadership: Capable of leading cross-functional initiatives and fostering collaboration to achieve shared business goals.
