Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join their team

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can lead quality management in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment? This exciting opportunity allows you to design and implement quality systems from the ground up, shaping the quality culture of a growing company.

What you'll be doing?
  • Design Quality Systems: Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System aligned with automotive industry standards and company objectives.
  • Lead Certification: Spearhead the IATF 16949 certification process, ensuring company-wide compliance and readiness.
  • Standardize Procedures: Define and implement quality procedures, inspection standards, and control plans across all departments.
  • Supervise Quality Control: Oversee daily quality activities in production and inspection areas, providing guidance to QC inspectors.
  • Drive Improvements: Monitor key quality indicators and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct Audits: Plan and execute internal quality audits to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Analyze Data: Collect and interpret quality-related data, preparing insightful reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop Team: Build and mentor a high-performing quality team, fostering professional growth and setting clear performance targets.
Who are they looking for?
  • Engineering Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field to provide a strong technical foundation.
  • Quality Experience: 8-10 years in quality management, preferably in automotive, to bring industry-specific expertise to the role.
  • Automotive Standards: In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • System Implementation: Proven experience in establishing or improving QMS in growing environments to drive organizational success.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities to effectively guide the quality function and team.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English for clear communication across the organization. Mandarin proficiency is advantageous for potential regional collaboration.
