Job Title: Merchant Specialist

Location Coverage: Southern Region ( based in Johor )

Join the team powering one of Malaysia's leading digital financial platforms We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Merchant Specialist to help accelerate the adoption of digital payments among local businesses.

About the Client:

Our client is a prominent fintech company at the forefront of transforming Malaysia's cashless landscape through innovative digital wallet solutions. They partner with thousands of merchants nationwide, from small retailers to large franchises, providing seamless and secure payment experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approach new merchants to introduce and register them as digital payment partners.
  • Guide merchants through documentation and submission via the Admin Portal.
  • Personally deliver onboarding kits to newly registered merchants.
  • Provide dashboard usage training ( when requested ).
  • Address merchant inquiries during the onboarding phase.
  • Support partner and client-organized events by manning booths and onboarding merchants.
  • Share information about current campaigns and promotional tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills ( Bahasa Malaysia and English required; Mandarin is an advantage ).
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently across Southern Region.
  • Tech-savvy with basic administrative skills and fieldwork adaptability.
